Privacy Policy

Privacy is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. This page explains in plain language how klinikterapist.com handles visitor information.

In short

Cookies only with your consent. The site sets no cookies of its own. When you first open it, a small window asks whether you allow Google Analytics. If you choose “Decline”, no cookies are set. If you choose “Accept”, the cookies described under “Google Analytics” below are used. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
No advertising tracking; anonymous counts for everyone. There is no tracking for advertising. Even without your consent, anonymous, aggregate counts of visited pages are kept: how many times each page was opened, whether a post was read to the end, which site a visit came from (the domain only, e.g. instagram.com), the device type (phone, tablet or computer), the page language, and how many times the appointment, e-mail or social media links were clicked. No cookies are used; no IP address or anything that identifies a person is recorded. The counts are stored only as totals on Google infrastructure (Google Apps Script and Google Drive).
No third-party loading. Fonts and images are served from this site itself. Unless you allow Google Analytics, opening the site sends no requests to third-party services such as Google Fonts.
Only the contact form. The only form on the site is the one on the Contact page. The name, e-mail address, topic and message you enter reach me as an e-mail through Google’s infrastructure (Google Apps Script) and are used only to reply to you. Your message is not stored on the site; only to prevent abuse, a counter linked to your e-mail address is kept by Google for at most 24 hours.

If you choose “Accept” in the cookie window, Google Analytics runs so that I can understand how the site is used and improve it. Google sets cookies whose names start with _ga in your browser. They hold a random number that links visits from the same browser and stay in your browser for up to 2 years.

This sends Google the pages you visit and the time spent on them, the site you came from, your approximate location (city or country level), and your device, browser and language. Google Analytics does not store your IP address; it uses it to find the approximate location and then discards it. Advertising features are turned off; this information is not used for advertising. In the reports I see only aggregate numbers; I cannot identify you. The data is kept in Google Analytics for 2 months and then deleted.

Google may process this information on servers outside Türkiye, including in the United States. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

To withdraw your consent, use the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page and choose “Decline”; the _ga cookies are deleted and Google Analytics is not loaded again.

The appearance you choose (day/night) and your choice in the cookie window are stored only in your own browser and are not sent to us.

Hosting

The site is published on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical records such as IP addresses for security and service operation under its own privacy statement.

Links to my social media accounts, such as Instagram, and to resources I recommend open in a new tab. Those sites’ own privacy policies apply.

E-mail

E-mails you send me are used only to reply to you and to arrange appointments; contact form messages are used only to reply to you. See the Privacy Notice for details.
